Janelle began preparing taxes professionally with the 2002 tax year working for H&R Block. During her employment with H&R Block she took close to 300 hours of tax education classes. She and Richard then purchased a tax business in 2005. Prior to that Janelle worked off and on as a bookkeeper for various employers.
In 2007-2008 Janelle took the IRS Special Enrollment Examination, and became an Enrolled Agent in April of 2008. With this, she can represent any taxpayer before the IRS through Examinations, Appeals, and Collections. We believe in professional associations and Janelle maintains membership in the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the California Society of Enrolled Agents. The North Bay Chapter of CSEA is very active and Janelle serves in leadership for the chapter.
In 2012 Janelle completed the three-year National Tax Practice Institute program becoming an NTPI Fellow. This program is focused on developing additional skills for representing clients before the IRS.
Janelle first moved to Santa Rosa in the early 1970s and attended Rincon Valley Jr. High, later graduating from Montgomery HS and SRJC. Janelle was active in leadership for Bible Study Fellowship for many years and remains active serving at Santa Rosa Bible Church.
Janelle and Richard have three children and eight grandchildren. Janelle is happy to share photos of the grandchildren upon request.
